I will usually spend about 30-45 dollars on a set of front brake pads I only use Ceramic pads however, because they eliminate most of the dust and the squeak from brakes. Some cars will cost mor than this but the average car will only cost about 40 dollars. If you have four wheel disk brakes the cost of the vehicle goes up becuase you need to replace all four but regardless i would still recommend the ceramic pads.
