I have a 2002 ford explorer and I am having problems with the 4 wheel drive. Please help!?

It is making a really bad jerking when I turn the wheel either way, I think I may need it replaced. Has anybody had this problem or any problem with this type of vehicle. How much did it cost?

i own a repair shop,and if its in 4 wheel drive,,and you turn the wheels,,and it jerks,,some of this is normal if your on dry surface,but a lot of jerking is caused by a bad cv joint in the front,,yours is to new to probably have a bad joint in it,,but you might want to take it,,and have it checked anyway,,just to be sure,good luck,i hope this help,s.
