My car horn only works some of the time - any ideas?

The point where you feel the contact with the clutch can change quite a bit after changing the clutch, usually it contacts higher on the throw than previously.
This is due to thicker material on the surfaces, and the pedal may need to be adjusted after the change.
With a mechanical linkage this is pretty easy, but most hydraulic clutches are a little more involved.

Any one know about EGR valves going bad & what your car acts like.?

Depending on how it is adjusted, yes it would change. Some engage at the low point of the pedal release, some at the upper end. Do you have a cable, or is it a hydraulic clutch? I would not worry about it. I am sure that all is well. And if you are still worried, ask the mechanic that did work. No one needs a mad customer. He will do what he can to make you happy. I would, I don't need people bad mouthing me all over town.

My 1997 Honda Accord is having problems lately. Can someone help me understand why?

well you didnt say if your clutch is hydraulic or mech lin kage type.
most new clutchs will grabb much closer to the floor and be much easier to push than before.its normal and in a matter of a day or so you will get readjusted to it.
clutches have a tendancy to go bad gradually till they just fail.we dont aqlways notice the changes till we get a new one, then you have to learn how to drive all over it seems
provided your not having any other problems it will be ok
