I got a call on Christmas day to help my mate with his. The glass had come out of the raising mechanism. Unlike Mondeos (whose windows I have changed before), the motor on the Vectra is riveted to the door instead of screws. It was a pig of a job as part of the mechanism had popped apart and I had to work through the tiny access holes in the door to put it all back together.

Your going to have to be a bit more informative on this, what's the problem? is it just one window, or just both fronts, or is it just both backs, or is it none working at all. If it is just one and you cannot hear anything from the door when you try the window it is most likely to be the winding mechanism in that door. However if you can hear it working and the window not moving then the mechanism have disconnected from the glass. If none of them are working check your window relay. If only the back ones do not work you may have the same problems we had with the Carltons, which was the control switch, the one for the back had a computer circuit in it which packs up. Just try swapping it for another to eliminate the cause.
