$800 for a rack is not a bad price on a front wheel drive car. The subframe will have to be dropped and the transmission may have to be removed. But he has looked at it, right? It could just be a hose. i own a shop,and 800 ,that's kind of high isn't it,you know this one might be covered by warranty, id see what the date was when i bought it because its just 2 years old,and the warranty may still be in affect,it sure would be worth looking in to,but 800 for that job is a little high,,it can be done a little cheaper,good luck hope this helps.More Questions & Answers ...
