Pontiac sunbird(1993)my car is bogging after the engine has warmed up.?
If the gauge is reading hot, but the engine isn't actually overheating, you may have a bad temp sending unit. If you have an electric fan, you will have two sending units. One controls the on/off for the fan and sometimes controlled by the computer. The other goes to the instrument cluster to operate the temp gauge. You will need to check a shop manual for your vehicle to determine location and which is which. How do I tell which of my half-shafts failed?

Yep it's probably your thermostat. And by the way, I had a 1994 Grand Am with the 3100 and it would do the same thing, but it actually was getting hot. There just weren't any outward signs. So be careful.yea thermostat,,,,easy to check,, 1st, does the heater work,if it dosent, then its the thermo,,

Can I use truck tires/SUV tires on my Chevelle?
Check your coolant level (If it has a seperate cap on the radiatior, check it there! Only when it is cold, you don't want to burn yourself). If it is low on coolant find the leak and fix it! You may be able to rent a coolant pressure tester at the auto parts store. It is just a mini bike pump that screws on in place of your radiator cap. You fill it up to 10-15 psi and look for the leak.Check/replace the thermostat if that wasn't it.
I need to purchase and replace an engine for my car, where can I find one and how much does it cost?
If it only gets hot when it idles, but cools while moving, check your fans and fan relays.
