Beeping Rover 400 (N reg)?

Question:
I've been having problems with my fob for a while which I put down to a slightly dodgy switch (locking).

Is the Plastic Shield under a 2000 Golf necessary?

Last Friday I replaced the battery (making sure I bought the right one) and things seemed to improve for a while.

Looking for anyone who has used the Earl Scheib in Alexandria Virginia.?

Ford C4 3-speed Transmission? Swap for a 4 speed?

Sounds like seat belt or pressure switch in seat gone.
