When you are bored one day, watch the truck that delivers gas pull right out of one and into the other.......The biggest difference in gas is #1 does the company you are buying from put any additives in the gas and #2 how clean is their storage tanks for the gas. Water getting in the tanks in the form of condensation makes the biggest difference in performance. Brand is pretty much bogus except for what they advertise to add. 76 is a much higher quality gasoline than Valero. Even if it just a few cents more, getting 87 grade at 76 is like getting 89 at Valero!Car batteries - I don't use my car very much, how often should I take it for a run?
Around here Most everyone uses Quiktrip because if there is water in the gas they will repair your vehicle. Other than that I would stick with 76with 89 deville not running coolant drains out from the rear of engine?
anyway you look at it gas is gas, they did a study on it and it cleans the same and is the same quality as the high grade gas. i use 87 in all my trucks, there is no difference. hope this helps, they just want your money! and i have a 2000 dodge, 96 dodge, 3 domp trucks 2 vans 1 harley 2 4 wheelers 2 chevy trucks and i put 87 in all of them and they run fine!More Questions & Answers ...
