Question:
I have an '89 Buick Riviera and I will be cutting off the catalytic converter. Are there any sensors in my exhaust system that I will have to take care of? As far as I know, there are no sensors in my exhaust system (I have spent a lot of time under that car and I have never seen or found any). I also have a custom dual exhaust system and when I put that on, I didn't come across any sensors that are normally located near the cat. (I replaced the factory system a few years ago when my cat got plugged and needed to be replaced, but now I live in a county that does not have any emission laws/testing.) What do you think...does this sound like an easy enough "repair" or will I have to rethink my options? Thanks and have a great day!
