baking soda will work well,be care full and don't get it on you though,it will burn,and eat right through your cloths also but that will work fine to clean them off,you can also take the cable off of it,and use a small wire brush on it,,then use a little grease on it when you put it back on,,this will stop it from doing this again good luck hope this help,s.happy new yearsAn old nailbrush works well. Anything with good, stiff bristles should clean them up.

yes that is what you use. then when your done take some spray paint and lightly cover the terminals. that way it doesn't happen again.
