The back door latch on my 95 yukon is not working. I took the panel off and found the problem.?

there is a small plastic piece that kept it in place. Now the piece is cut in half and will not stay on. what is this piece and how can i replace it. do i have to go to a dealer

Dead Battery or Just plain too cold out?

take the piece (or take a picture of it) and bring it to the dealer. That's the only way, as auto parts stores don't carry stuff like that. You could try a salvage yard, though.

you may have to take it to a dealership cause it might be the only place to find out what it is. when you find out take the information and go to an auto parts store and ask them if they carry it. it will be allot less cost than having a dealer fix it.
