2005 chevy z71 i keep blowing the TBC fues under the hood?
You'll save time by getting a professional car glazier to do it.It also gives You someone to blame if it starts leaking.
You can purchase the rubber seal. It involves a tub of hot water and washing up liquid! Soak the seal so it's more pliable, and then fit.
1991 ford explorer i cant get interior light off because of back latch?
if its leaking its probably not the seal but the drain is blocked best take it to someone with a compressor to clear the drain holesWhat are the benifits of the engine oil's additives that classified by API as SF,SJ,SL.. etc?
The best way is to purchase a new seal from your local motor spares store,or visit the scrap yard & get a used seal cheaper. I guess a garage would do the job but they'd charge too much.Where does the coolant for your radiator go..where is the radiator?
Actually there is no need to replace the seal unless the rubber seal is torn. You can renew the seal by rubbung the rubber seal with a paint thinner, not a laquer thinner...it causes the rubber seal to expand whereby it is just as effective as a new seal...
I thought the question was "how do i replace the rubber seal..."
Ok depending on the car, most rubber seals should just pull away from the metal frame. Grab the rubber seal from the top with your index and thumb and roll it downward. Once the seal is off, you will see how it goes back on.Like I said that works for most cars, some have metal clips to remove first.
I have a small case of oxidation on the top of my car, any suggestions?
If it is a factory sunroof it should just slide on and off with little effort. Aftermarket sunroofs normally will have clips you need to mess with to get the old one off and the new one will just slip right in. Most after market roofs need to have the door removed to get to the whole seal. Other wise it will not remove completely with out tearing and will be every difficult to reinstall. Factory you can do with out removing the sun roof door. Hope this helps. With out the Year make and model as well as knowing if it is a factory or aftermarket it’s pretty general advice. Wish I could help more.More Questions & Answers ...
