Question:
The car is an automatic and two separate mechanics haven't found the problem, but it also didn't stall for them when they test drove it.
Answers:
Can u buy the hinges where the parcel shelf goes in the boot for a corsa?
check the mass air flow meter or check to see if you have cracks in your mass air flow boot. the meter helps control the air/fuel mixture so if when you are doing your 80mph the meter has calculated the proper mixture but if when you slow down a bad meter may not recalculate the mixture quick enough causing the engine to stall. the boot is the plastic accordion looking tube that goes from your air filter box to the intake and if its cracked it to can screw up the mixture by allowing air to escape or allowing more air to get in than needed.watch speed
Make, Model and year of vehicle?
Engine size? Type?
The same thing used to happen with me scooter. They also didn't find the problem because it was how I was using the scooter. It was caused by the engine flooding. (Sorry, but my engine knowledge is NIL, so I'll describe it instead.) When I decelerated, the engine was still accepting the larger amount of fuel. When they tested it, they were more experienced drivers, so it didn't happen to them. Also, they found dirt buildup into the cylinders (The tubes that the gas goes into in the engine.)
Sorry about the really crappy explanation, but I really know nothing about engines. The only reason I answered is because is sounded just like my problem.
Car damage from business' landscaping-HELP?
To the other people on-line (Don't laugh TOO much at my lack of mechanical knowledge. It's only because my brothers do everything for me where my car is concerned.)
