I have no idea what a laguna is, so my answer is predicated in assuming it's a car (sorry I'm not a car person), but my parents used to own a gas station. It sounds like early ignition. The gas air mixture is supposed to ignite when the piston is at the top of the cyliner and the gas and air are compressed.
