Magnaflow mufflers as well as any "high performance" muffler will make your car louder. The nice thing about Magnaflow is that due to the way the baffles are designed inside of the muffler your car will not "rumble" all the time. It will have a nice mellow lobe sound until you get on it and then you will hear that famous Magnaflow growl.What is the main cause for a check engine light? Oil, trans, radiator are all fine.?
Depends preformance mufflers usually will make it louder for your car, the mufflers that make your car more silent are your Original Manufactured Mufflers... Like the ones that come with your car... Usually magnaflow make it louder... If you look at the design on the side they show you what they do and if it looks loud then it probably is...Anytime to decrees the back pressure on the car it will make it louder. Magnaflow mufflers are almost a straight though muffler. It will increase the sound. But they are very nice mufflers and will allow a great exhaust note. Not like the notes you hear on the Hondas. I run the DynaFlow mufflers with a cherry bomb in front of it. The cherry bombs absorbed some of the sound and the dynaflow absorb the rest give that a try if you’re concerned about the sound.
