BMW E30 1980 electrical/starting issue??

Question:
I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. whilst driving my new installed cd player fades in and out my new elec arial goes up and down i then try to undo elec window and loose power car does not start after that sounds like the starter motor but i have never heard of it happening while driving? can anyone shed some light on it? should i replace the starter or is it something electical (also just had dash updated 3 days before)

The problem; negative or earth ground from the negative side of the battery fading in and out losing connectivity...

just had a new cat fittrd to my honda civic now the engie warning light is on kwikfit aint got a clue?

The solution: = making sure engine and tranny grounding straps to car body are not burnt or corroded.. also making sure the negative side of the battery has a very good condition earth or ground wire going to the car body...

Which, Truck, CHEVY OR FORD ? Why ?

And also making sure the radio is properly grounded to the car body!
