Driving an 87 Integra for the record

hi i have a opel corsa 98 and the oil is pissing out of a little thing on the engine?

I accidently(yes i know dont flame) connected the postive to negative on the battery and i saw a little smoke come out of the fuse box .. i looked into it and i saw 3 skinny metal peices .. i noticed that 1 was cut in the middle and im guessing thats where the smoke came from

Is it better in sub-zero weather, to start your car & let it run briefly or to just let it sit?

im guessing this isnt a fuse but a link or someting?

it was probably a fuse able link, like a fuse, get a replacement.

sounds like you burned a fusible link and should be able to get replacement at autozone

if these are incased in glass then you blew a fuse jusy replace it and you should be fine if not then it was a fuseable link replace it and again you will be fine. easier way too find out is to buy the book for your car
