Oldsmobile alero starting problems?

Question:
my 2003 6 cylinder alero occasionally gives me a hard time starting but is getting worse as the weather is getting warmer. the engine will crank and then finally start after about 4-5 trys. if its cold outside most of the time it starts fine. the check engine light is not on along with any other lights. it has been in and out of the shop and they cant find the problem without throwing a bunch of new parts on it. i had the fuel filter changed, pressure checked. didnt solve the problem. it also idles a little rough. the car only has 40,000 miles. anybody have this problem or knows what it might be?
