We're looking at a G6 GTP and we're wondering about the supercharged motor in it?

My mom is looking at a 2006 G6 GTP, and my boyfriend was telling me that the supercharged motors have a bit more maintanence...does anyone have a new GTP that could let me know what kind of maintainence this kind of car has?
