Question:
No visible leaks, pulled sparkplugs to see if water was coming out (none) I checked exhaust pipe to see if water was being blown out other than morning condensation (none). I suspected either a crack head or a broken head gasket. No bubbles showing inside the radiator top chamber. Any new ideas ?

Does my car perform better when it has a fresh coat of wax?
Have you checked your tranny fluid, it has to be leaking from somewhere, fill it and then park somewhere where it is dry and check for leaks. Good luck.My 1997 Chevy Silverado -started to act weird........?
check the heater core if nothing else is found, you might want to purchase a coolant pressurizer to pressure up the system to help find the leak, you can also use this tool to check for a blown head gasket,it will build up pressure when the engine is running, without you manually pressurizing it.bet u can't answer this 1990 Buick leabre problem... JP but i can use ur help!?
change the radiator cap, that system is called "closed system"the cap has two stages rubber gasket(one(A) let some coolant goes to a reservoir when engine hot and let it come back when the engine is cold .The other(B) let the superheated vapor goes to the atmosphere when the engine is hot but closed tight when the engine is cold.
if gasket (B) do not close tight instead coolant keep coming back from reservoir engine soak air from atmosphere and leave the reservoir refiling of coolant constantly and dumping the excess to the road
Well its gotta be going somewheres..... with the engine running check every thing on the engine.... look at the heater valve, even drips will cause your radiatior to go low.....check all the hoses..... now for leaking into the engine, does your temp guage go high? exhaust smell sweet or is it white? If it does then you are burning the coolant.
I own a 1988 GMC sierra, the steering column is extremely loose and I'm not sure how to fix it.?
Well. you are driving some kind of a pick-up, made in '76 by an unknown builder. Not knowing the make is somewhat irrelevant. Since you cannot find the leak visually get hold of a pressure tester. Pressurize the cooling system and look for a leak. Most common is the water pump shaft seal. There is a weep hole on the underside of the pump housing on some engines. Depends who make the truck.More Questions & Answers ...
