it depends on what model car it is. most cars have molded foam with vinyl glued onto a steel subframe. Taking it off can be a real hassle since it is glued. If you can find a cover for it if you need, check with jc whitney and other after market parts distributors for prices.How difficult is auto body work for the mechanically challenged?
