Does my 4-cycle Toro snowblower need to be drained of gasoline before summer storage?

Question:
I've read the manual, and there seems to be conflicting directions on this. I've got some Sta-bil to condition the gas. Also, if I don't have to drain it of gas, how much gas should I put in to condition?

Fuse in auxiliary elec box for ABS and heater blew.replaced fuse, heater works again but ABS light flickers on

Yes, it should be drained, but you can use the stabilizer too if you want to. But it'a a long time til next winter!

How should you prep and mount a lund hood scoop?

i own a shop and i wouldn't drain it out,what i would do is leave gas in it and start it once in a while,they now recommend doing this rather than draining them out they say it keeps the carburetor from jelling up ,and i have tried it with a few of my power tools and it works,i leave mine in all year around now,and just start them once in a while,it seems to work better that way ,even though my neighbors think I'm nuts for starting my power washer in the middle of the winter it works out a lot better like that good luck i hope this helps.

A question for a mechanic?

I never have drained it, but I do know you are supposed to (the easiest way is to just let it run until it runs out of gas, if you don't have a ton in there to begin with). That way it can't clog up on you. Sometimes I store it with gas in, sometimes it's empty. It usually seems that it evaporates over the course of the summer anyway.

Mix the stabilizer in with the gas the ratio that it advises on the bottle. Fill the gas tank completely . Then run the engine long enough to get the stabalizer down into the carb. (5-10 min)
