Question:
Hi i was wondering if the Range Rover Classic (F-89) and the Defender 90 Hardtop (N-96) have the same wheel stud patterns at the hub.
I want to swap the wheels over to my newly purchsed defender (I pick up the Defender tomorrow so i can't check) and was wondering if this is just a straight swap??
Did My Engine ('91 Honda Accord) Lock because of 5w30 oil? Please read details?
Cheers
Answers:
depends on model, but should be OK.
I have also just changed my E-88 range rover(petrol/LPG)
for a M-95 disco 3 series tdi
great car.
What gas should I use with my 2007 Honda Accord Sedan?
yesHow can you tell if the button is a front defroster or a rear defroster?
Yes, the stud pattern's the same, and if it's a 90, the load rating of the wheels should be ok. You occasionally run into problems putting alloys on when steels were originally equipped, where the thicker alloy mounting face means you don't get enough threads engaged on the nut. I think this is mainly with older stuff, though - Defenders of that period were available with alloys from Land Rover, so the studs should be long enough. Worth double checking when you fit the wheels though - having one come loose on you is no fun at all.I'm assuming you have tyres suitable for the 90? The Range Rover 205R16 is a little small on a Defender, and something like a 235/85R16 or 7.50R16 is better.
yes, wheel stud patterns arent done on model of the car there done on make of car for example.... the wheels from a 1985 RS500 cosworth will fit on a 2006 focus ST... get my drift? car manufacturers tend to keep the same pattern as it is cheaper and easier for them and the customer, just imagine different model of car had a different stud pattern?? there would be millions! lol, bottom line is a ford wheel will fit any ford car, a bmw wheeli will fitt a bmw car and a land rover wheel will fit any lang rover (obviously they have to have the same amount of studs lol)
