I'm assuming that you mean the distance between the flywheel and the magneto. If so remove the blower shroud, find the proper size feeler strip probably about .008 inch (find out for sure), insert it between the flywheel and the magneto where the magnets are. Loosen the small bolts/screws holding the magneto, let the magnets pull the magneto to the flywheel with the feeler strip between them. Retighten the magneto and pull the feeler strip out, reinstall blower shroud your done.
