you can get into chemical strippers that will literally run the paint off the car in a matter of minutes. can DA sand it down to bare metal. can have it bead blasted.

Off of what? You or the car? Chemical strippers are the fastest, but they are the messiest, costliest and the most toxic. The only other choice is either sandblasting or using sandpaper if you are trying to remove paint from the car and not you!
