I have a chevy 393 motor that i is still sitting on the engine stand?

If the light never came on , everything is fine. the oil a was a little low, but not dangerously low. Add oil up to the 'full' mark and drive another 700km. Look for grey smoke and a burning oil smell from the exhaust and/or puddles of oil where you park. Then check the oil level again. If it is down again you might have look at some repairs( which may be minor or more expensive than the car is worth) OR check and add oil every 700 or so km for the rest of the cars life

Anyone know how i can cancel the timing belt warning lamp to the Mazda626diesel without going to the dealer?

How many total miles are on the odometer? You easily could have burned the oil in that amount of time if the engine already has alot of miles accrued and alot of internal wear. Keep the oil level topped off if you want to avoid engine damage!

Body repair help?

if it was above the low mark, you're still good to go. when it is completely out of oil, that's when the trouble begins.

How do u make sure the timing is set when replacing a timing chain in a 1991 ford aerostar with a 3.0?

no..the point where the oil pump sucks up oil is about 2 and in some cases 3 quarts low.i wouldnt worry about it..
but not to advertize a product.. i use duralube ever other oil change. just one quart... this stuff once it is set in your engine will be good insurance in cases of lose of all your oil.. can run a while without oil... personally tested this run my old car with the stufff 5 quarts.. for 2 months.. drained the oil out.. ran 200 miles with no oil.. didnt even get hot

How do I change a fuel level sensor in my 2002 Buick LeSabre Limited?

As long as it is above the add make on a level surface and the engine is cold your good. As was mentioned by another here your car could be leaking or burning the oil. With that many miles it very probable. Keep an eye on it or it could get expensive .

Do you know a website or page i can costum a 1996 mustang?

It should be ok, with 160K your engine probably burned half a quart of oil, that is normal too. Just fill it up to the fill mark and check it every 2 weeks.

You will be safe as long as it is at or above the low mark. Not good but still OK. Keep a mean eye on it for a while so you know whether they didn't fill it or you are actually loosing it.

Can anyone tell me how to hook a aftermarket BOV (blowoff valve) on a 05 mitsubishi lancer Evo. how long also?

just keep the oil changed every 3000 miles. at 160000 you will burn some between changes. just check the oil every other time you gas it up
