Problems with a '91 Yamaha FZR 600?

Question:
Bike ran fine last summer, sat all winter...At one point it got buried in a snow drift. Wont start now, got new battery new spark plugs, confirmed a spark and confirmed that gas is getting to the carburetors (3 of 4, but bike should still start)...When we try to start it it just grinds, will backfire occasionally...Think it might be a problem with the timing? Possibly the digital ignitor...anybody have any ideas?

Answers:

My camry is comepletly locked! Please HELP!!? - not the weel!!?

There are very small pilot jets in each carb and these OFTEN become plugged with crud over the winter.
Just because a carb has gas in it doesn't mean any fuel passes through these tiny jets.
Almost certainly your problem.
Timing? Not likely.
