Where can I get a duplicate or copy of my car key? Can I go to any to any key copy place ?
I would suspect the transmission neutral switch more than the crank sensor, but most sensor are magnetic pick up so you would have to have a meter and magnet to measure continuity unless it was a pulse pickup like in a distributor, which generates a pulse for the computer to work,We have a 99 Chrysler that was Towed "No Start"?
If you had the flywheel off of the cranksfaft flange.. did you realign the marks before re-installing it?2003 Ford F-150 ext. cab short bed...?
i like Tim B answerChanging the transmission Will not cause a no-start. Does it turn over?? if not check the start neutral switch..If it turns over check all the plugs under the hood. You may have pulled a plug apart..( electrical plugs not the spark plugs.. Do you have spark??Do you have fuel??...Sniff around,if it ran before you did the transmission, it will run now.. If you put a volt-ohm meter on the disconnected crank sensor and somebody turns the engine over, it will show a pulse as it turns over. Use a Milli volt setting..
