How to clean up diesel mess on driveway?
It's kind of hard for a manifold to go bad. The most likely failure of a intake manifold is a blown head gasket. You'll have decreased compression, less power and smoke coming straight from the engine and potentially water/coolant in your oil.Changing locks? Answer before 5:00 p.m. central time on 3-27-07?

There is no advanced notice. If it fails, you will lose fuel from any cracks. The gasoline smell should tell you there is a crack. If a car is making a left turn which wheel turns faster?
the only thing that goes bad about an intake manifold typically is that the gaskets start to leak. You can check this with a vacuum gauge (most cars should read about 20 inches of mercury (hg/in or something like that on most gauges)) also typically bad manifold gaskets cause the car to run rough at low speeds, but fine at higher speeds as the extra air sucked in through the manifold isn't as much air relative to what the engine is using. Sometimes if its real bad you can hear it whistling as it sucks in air.More Questions & Answers ...
