Question:
My truck is leaking antifreeze, but I never see the antifreeze leaking under the truck. Also it wont go from the reservoir to the radiator..why? Sometimes it overheats, but not always. I go through a gallon of antifreeze every few days. What could be wrong?
Answers:
how can you fit a hand clutch on a car, which can be operated along with the shifter handle?
Have you noticed that your truck has white smoke coming from the exhaust? If you are losing that much I would guess that it is a head gasket and that the anti-freeze is leaking into a cylinder. That is where the white smoke would come from. If no white smoke, then replace the thermostat and flush the cooling system.my car RHS indicator light flashes too fast - how can I fix it?
Head gasketSo I have a problem with the car.....?
have the radiator cap checked.also does the oil look milky,if so then it might be going into the oil, then your talking about head gaskets.Engine?? Check your floor mat. Is it wet underneath?? heater core. Check for a lot of white smoke out the tail pipe. Blown head gasket......Check under the water pump. Where the shaft enters the pump. Put your hand under there and feel for anti-freeze..If it is a V-6 check around the front of the engine where the head meets the block.(the main part of the engine. There was recall on the six. The damn things would leak at the head gasket to the outside...Look carefully, it's hard to see.. Good luck....EDIT I just noticed that you already posted a question about replacing the head gasket.....Hmmmm I think you answered your question.!
