Question:
i am having trouble finding out why my alero is hard to start and idles rough. has been in and out of the shop. the check engine light is not on so their not getting a code. sometimes it will start up on the 1st try, mainly when its cold outside, when its warm/hot outside it sometimes takes me 20 minutes to get it started. it will turn & turn then all of a sudden starts. once it is started it stays started & never stalls but idles rough when at a stop light. my mechanic has checked the fuel pressure & filter, spark plugs & wires, fuel injectors, and everything else he could think of. does anyone know what the problem could be?
