Does car towing do any damage ?

Question:

unglueing plastic glue?

Not unless it's towed by the bumper or other body panels that will rip right off. Each car has a specific towing point, and the newer cars with plastic bumpers have a plastic panel on both front and rear that snaps off for a toe hook to be screwed into. The new tow trucks that tow a vehicle by the front wheels and secure them with belts are much safer than the older ones which hooked onto a part of the chassis. Also, some cars, such as sports cars, are too low to the ground for safe and damageless towing and require a flatbed to avoid body damage while transporting.

Volvo 940 Stalls When Driving?

Depends on how the vehicle is being towed. If it is one vehicle towing another if you do not hook it up properly it definately can cause cosmetic damage. As for tow trucks most of the newer tow trucks are wheel lift systems and tow the car securing the wheels, this is usually damage free depending on the height of your car (vehicles which have been lowered make this very difficult to impossible.) An older wrecker, or certain repo trucks still use slings shich use chains and have alot of pressure on the bumpers. In this case if you have a newer car the bumpers can get damaged easily. A flat bet wrecker is the best way to tow a vehicle, it usually results in the least if any damage.
