I have a 95 escort, I replaced the starter twice and both times it don't start my battery is brand new help

it works if I jump the starter with a screw driver what could be wrong? could it be the relays?

it's the solonoid or the bendix . usually if u have 2 cross it with a screwdriver , the solonoid's gotta be bad.

Quit replacing the starter which is obviously working, and instead replace the solenoid which obviously isn't. Alternately, the wire that triggers the starter may be bad.
