A 65 Mustang should not need NOS it has a lot of power on its own. The engine can be built with-out the fear of explosion of the engine. Plus from a car collectors point of view, the resale value on the car is 10 times better if the car and engine have not been modified. dont put nitrous in a 65 mustang. well thats my opinionI have to agree with everyone else here....Don't put the baby on spray...If he MUST do it, make sure he rebuilds the motor....Nos is a great way to tear apart the internals of a motor and if he burns it up, he'll have to rebuild it anyways. Oh, and Be careful!

Avoid the nitrous on that '65. If he doesn't have a 289 in it now (i have an in-line 6 with an unsynchronized 3-speed on my '65), he should invest on getting one. It has plenty of power by itself. Don't know how your brother's car is modified but if it's stock, he's got a lot of work to do if he wants more power. Upgrade to disc brakes, sway bars, suspension upgrades, transmission etc..More Questions & Answers ...
