I need to change the oil in my 2002 bmw mini cooper which oil do i need to use?


2) I noticed last week after switching from high mileage oil the last 20,000 miles to regular oil my transmission is not changing gears as smoothly, what could be the problem.

You should get a tune up at least every 100,000 miles plugs wires etc. The motor oil you use should not affect how your transmission shifts. Depending on how many miles you have on your vehicle maybe its time for a transmission flush. It is not recommended for higher mileage cars though.
