Do i buy this car, mazda mx3, not sure about the oil??

Question:
I want to buy a mazda mx3 from a local dealer, when the car started up it was a little smokey. We took it for a drive, when we got back we removed the oil cap and it was a little smokey, and when you smelt the inside of the cap it smelt really strongly of burnt oil. We dipped the stick and the oil seemed nice and clean.

Where can I get a cheap muffler for my riding lawnmower engine is a briggs & stratton model 311700 part #69085

Whats the year and cost? If this car is a late 90ish and $500, it would absolutley be worth it to buy it and dump the engine. Smoke tells you there is seriously something wrong. Either you have coolant entering the cyl, oil entering the cyl, or the previous driver didnt use any air filters and you have tons of garbage burning in the cyl. Either way, its going to be expensive to fix.
unless you plan on turning this into a project car, i would stay away from anything that smokes.
If the car is in decent shape, and you already have a motor picked out for it, go for it.

Please help my car is driving me mad?

i own a repair shop and id be real careful about buying this one those was bad to get hot and warp the head, this may be where your seeing the smoke come from on it,those cars look good, and that's why people buy them but be careful you don't buy someone else problems,it could easily cost you around a 1000 bucks to get this fixed if it does have a smoking problem,so be careful you could get burned real good on this one, they have changed the oil in it,and the usually do this to hide problems, good luck i hope this helps.

The cigarette lighter in my car stopped working -- any ideas for an easy fix?

Do not buy before you have it checked out by an independent mechanic!

I have a 93 Buick Skylark (3.3L) that stumbles real bad when accelerating?

The dealer did all he could to make the car sell-able, but even he didn't think it was worth it to fix the problem. Instead, they are trying to hide the problem and pass it on. I guess they figure you'll be back and pay them more money to get it fixed, after you find all the problems.

I have a 1992 buick roadmaster can anyone tell me what infl and rest light stands for?

If you're still interested in this car, take it to your own mechanic and have it checked out thoroughly

Hi

How to grease brake stop pads.?

Its probably had a recent oil change to hide an underlying problem and unless you plan to drop a new lump in it and its cheap enough to buy then WALK AWAY.

How do i find temperture gauge?

It sounds as though cylinder compressions and gases are getting into the sump past the rings, hence the smoke in the rocker cover, and if they can go one way they can come back the other, hence the smokey exhaust.
