Rust removal, prep on 85 Chevy truck-- I'm TOLD it's now so easy a caveman can do it. True?
I think it is all relative in today's times. Parts across the board are more expensive these days. We used to blame import parts as being expensive because all of that stuff was coming from overseas but that is not as much the case anymore. The more of a higher line of car that you have the more expensive you should expect your parts to cost. For example Parts for a Cadillac STS will be more expensive than parts for a Chevrolet Impala, both cars are GM but the higher line of cars will cause you to pay more. You can find a lot of domestic parts now that cost just as much as import parts. The key to finding inexpensive parts for imports is to find imports built in the US. I hope that this helps.
