HiWhere is the Mass air sensor located in a 94 f150?
This could very well be a problem with the crank sensor. The flashing check engine light is telling you that there is 1 or more fault codes stored in the fault memory and these can be accessed by anyone with a basic FCR (Fault Code Reader).
You could the mail me the codes and I could tell you what they mean.

My 91 buick park ave.is getting power but will not start ,the starter just clicks what could it be?
There are many components that work together in the engine to maintain optimal engine performance and economy.A service engine soon, or check engine light indicates that there is a sensor that is reading a condition that is "out of range".
Simply resetting the light does not solve the initial cause of the problem.
Replacing a number of parts trying to troubleshoot the problem in the hopes of getting the light to stay off is a tremendous waste of time and money.
The simplest, and most economical way to alleviate your issue, is to have the computer codes checked by a reputable shop to determine what caused the computer to signal you to begin with.
What is the maintenance schedule for a 2003 Toyota Camry LE w/ 60,000 miles odometer.?
That being said, if per-chance you feel the need to reset the light in the hopes that it was a "glitch" of some kind, you could disconnect the negative battery terminal for a couple of minutes to clear the check engine light.
Can anyone with a flat rate manual look up a Ford Ranger oil pan gasket replacement estimate?
take it to a garageHow much does a window regulator cost??
Flashing lights on the dash board normally mean there is an engine management fault and so when the engine cuts out this is called safe mode which stops the engine being damaged.Without knowing more it is very difficult to give a proper diagnosis therefore I would suggest that you take it to a professional garage. They should have a computer that can be plugged into your car and can read the fault and give you the proper answer.
I have a Ford A/C R134 with 0 pressure and won't accept a charge even if compressor is running.?
engine cutting out could be many things. i had a similar problem and it ended up being faulty fuel injectors. $1500 later i got it fixed. take the car to a reputable garage or the dealership. dealerships can be expensive but they are usually honest and do good work. they can't afford to con you because they are an arm of the car manufacturer and don't want the bad press.engine cutting out is rarely a simple fix so youre best taking it in for diagnosis.
I have a question about my car?
engine light is flashing means somethings wrong could be anything from a plug being bad to fuel problem take it to any autozone or advanced and the have a scanner that can check it... but i would take it to a shop where they can actaully fixing the problem once its been found.. also for the one below that said disconnect the battery cable DONT DO IT.. disconnecting a battery cable without a memory saver in place could result in having to replace the computer and other problems ..thats why more and more autopart stores arent changing batteries.Ignition wont turn now on 1997 Corolla?
There is a problem that requires attention, you need to look into this very soon.either take the car in to a garage or dealer and get it fixed. or if you want to fix it, take it to a auto parts store that will check the computer error codes to tell you what is wrong.
Again, don't delay on this, as the problem you have may cause other components to fail. Good luck.
If you have put any of the contaminated fuel from Morrissons/Tescos etc. in it then you may have a knackered O2 sensor. I know that the naff fuel was a few weeks ago but if you are doing low mileages then it may have taken this long for the sensor to get caked in silicon. Either way take the car to a decent garage to see what the fault code is.
