Is the Clutch replacement procedure for a TVR Chimaera 4 litre V8 an engine out job, or gearbox back & out?

93 L Rover V8 TVR Chimaera, new clutch in, however Bell Housing obscured by Chassis Rails, engine out? or forward and up on lift? Gearbox and Prop Shaft already removed.
