Question:
Its a Clio. It sounds like its flooded whenever i try to start it so i have to leave it for anything from 10 mins to 24hours before it will driven and then it tries to cut out whilst driving. I earlier started it but it cut out again halfway up the road and wont bump start. (It seems to cut off when going uphill but is not parked on a hill when it wont start). Any ideas?

okie dokie lady heres your anwser if it is a carburated engine where you have a breather thing onthis carb or is it fuel injected engine it does make a diffrence anyways if it is a carb engine then you have to get the carb worked on cause it sounds like to me your carb isnt getten the fuel all the time and when it does it looses it are chokes out and stall.s and when parked up hill it wont start cause the fuel cant get to the carb due to the carb not haven enough suckion or it could be the fuel pump going out too cause if the pressure isnt there all the time then that means the pump is weak and needs replaceing and can be tested at a auto shop its called a gas line pressure test it will test the fuel pump and the lines and the carb pump thats about it and i hope this helps but it is for shure a fuel problem god bless,,,,,,,,
