Dumb a!@ pissed on my car will it do any thing to the paint?
HiThe oil in the plug recess will be from the rocker gasket which is no real biggy to repair, and the non-start is very highly likely to be due to a failed crank sensor.
However, remove the petrol cap and hold your ear to the hole whilst someone switches on the ignition but they mustn't crank the engine, just turn the key to fully on. You should hear a 1 or 2 second hum from the fuel tank. if not then you need to investigate the fuel pump relay and the wiring, and finally the fuel pump.
Would a body kit look good or stupid on a 2000 toyota corolla?
If you do hear the hum then remove the air filter and spray some carb cleaner or wet start into the intake tunnel whilst someone cranks the engine over. If the engine starts then you need to investigate the camshaft sensor and the injectors.

its an old car maybe it would be cheaper to replace than repair have a proper mechanic take a look thoWhat are diesel fuel additives and how they work?
Are you sure it was oil? as you should find its a mix of fuel/oil it means your not fireing on all 4 clean the plug change it round then see, Then change the lead , this way you are narrowing the field to lead or plug, even a new lead can be faulty , did you see this same "oil plug" before the new leads??AUTO A/C PROBLEMS...ADVICE MUCH APPRECIATED! ('99 chevy silverado)?
hi...the oil you mention is probably getting there from the 'oil breather' pipe which goes from your 'rocker box cover' to your 'air filter' unit on top of your 'carbureter'...this is probably due to a blockage somewhere on that pipe...easy to do yourself.it could also be coming from the gasket seal which is between your 'rocker box cover' and the top end of your engine...easy to fix yourself, buy a new one and fit carefully, remembering not to over tighten the 'rocker box cover'.
What does it mean when the ABS light is on in a 1994 explorer?
now your starting prob.first, you need to check 'if' you have a spark to your sparkplugs...so take off one of your spark plug leads, and pull it back so the connection is bare, then get an insulated pair of pliers to hold the lead end...then get someone to turn over the engine from the ignition, and hold the bare end of your spark plug lead close to the engine body and you should see a blue spark arcing across.
if you do this and don't see a spark at all it probably means you need a new 'coil'...buy a new one and fit...easy job for you to do yourself.
Do kia sephias have low oil sensor?
asertain that the valves have a clearance on them (i know there Hyd Tappets if Ekotec) compression test, and cylinder leakage test.if the vehicle has been standing and or to check cause of low compression readings put two to three squirts from an oil can (engine oil not 3in1) down each s/plug hole, and try again or attempt to start (oil drains away from the rings on Ekotec's resulting in low compression) it is recomended that an additional plug lead with a clear window is used in conjunctoin with the origional when checking for a spark to avoid damage to the ign amp module if fitted (if stuck miles from nowhere it's a different matter)! this module may alse be the cause of non starting.
Why did my tranmission disengage when I went fast going in reverse?
Oil on one spark plug can mean one of two things :- 1) Worst case the engine has major problems, worn or broken rings, worn valve stem seals. To test this you will need a compression tester. Test the engine dry, then test the engine after putting oil into through the spark plug hole. If there is a big difference between the dry and wet test , the piston rings are shot.2) Best case, the spark plug has been dead for some time possibly because the HT leads are damaged. Quick fix replace the spark plugs.
