How we get heat inside the car ?

Question:
whether gas consumption to get heat inside the car will be more in winter?

Answers:

I am having troubles with my lights.?

The heater in a car is basically an additional, small radiator attached to the coolant system. Since a combustion engine generates a lot of heat as a by-product, using the heater actually makes use of wasted energy. An electric motor forces air through the heater core and out the vents. There is no more gas consumed by this process than by the radio in your car.

Changing the oil in my truck...?

heat is a byproduct of your engine and comes into the car via coolant to the heater core. if you keep it off of defrost, and your a/c compressor wont engage, your fuel economy will improve but it may be hard to see with the windows all fogged up. Another factr in winter time is the winter fuel blend in the gas used by northern states it does hurt fuel economy slightly. hope this answers your question
