I'm looking for one of those car starters can charge a car's battery and can also double as a power source for my laptop. I don't want to use my car's battery to power my laptop or else I end up not being able to start my car if I drain the battery too much. (I go to the nearby hotel for wireless internet and so I stay in my car while I am on my laptop on the internet. I don't want to pay for internet access when I can get it for free.)

Check with your laptop's manufacturer...sometimes they offer a longer life battery for their machines.be prepared to pay more for it though.Usually you can look up your current battery pack online and they might offer a same model or longer lasting one. Then when you do find it, buy it on eBay! It's a lot cheaper that way.
