hear wiper motor it may only be a clip or somthing simple .

If you get one from a junk yard, you can get them for less then $20. They are also fairly easy to install. I would recommend trying to install it yourself before taking it to a mechanic to save you money. Also, look at your manual or online to see the specifics on which one you need because they vary depending on car models.I dont know where people are coming up with hundreds of dollars to fix this.A wiper motor changing is easy if you are even only a half a**ed mechanic.Wiper motors are cheap if you have an older vehicle.I would say only 100 bux max for the motor,just depends on what vehicle you have.The wiper motor will probably be located under the hood on the drivers side firewall near the brake master cylinder.There is only a couple of bolts on it.The tricky part is the possibility of having to take off the cowl panel to disconnect the wiper arms.I'm not talking about the arms that hold the blade either.There is a different set that move back and forth under your cowl panel that hook to your wiper motor.If you can pop this one arm off the motor,your home free.Its all downhill from there.Good luck.
