It well could be some of the things mentioned by the others,but my first thought was the brake vacuum booster.When the booster starts to leak they will make weird grumble noises.Sounds like somebody with a bad case of Asama.

could be a couple things. Springs in the suspension or if u have disc brakes could be, most likely, the rattle of the discs as u ease off and those plates rattle. Then, too, if ur pads are worn that would do it. U didn't mention front or rear.
