Does Automotive Presto Pro work as well as the pictures depic?

I assume you are talking about the rear brakes, if you jack the rear of the car up look at the backing plate of the rear drums and you will see an oval rubber insert, take it out and get a brake adjusting tool and stick it in the hole and adjust the adjusting wheel usually up and that will move the shoes out toward the drum, turn wheel until you feel the brakes having a slight drag on the brake drum and do the same equally on the other rear drum and your all set.

How do i switch off my Fiesta's alarm?

Every time you back up hit your brakes this will adjust them. They are self adjusting but only in reverse do they adjust.
