Answers:

what is the difference between positrack and limited slip differentials?

I had a 96 Accord LX with 167,000 miles and the shocks and struts were still good. To check a strut, put your hands on the fender and push down in a bouncing motion. When you remove your hands the bouncing should stop immediately. If it continues to bounce the struts are bad. Do the rear shocks the same way.
