I believe that your van will need an engine or a major overhaul. Even if it starts the damage is already done, because when you ran it with out oil you did much damage to your seals, and internal parts. This causes the inside of your engine to overheat and causes seals to crack soon after. If you ran it for a short time you might get away with it, but if you ran it for a while I think you will have big problems. Sorry....KECKMy BMW 325IS 1987 WONT START??

Don't you ever check your oil? Once, maybe, but three times? I would image your motor is history. If everything else is okay, you might consider a rebuilt engine. But if it's in rough shape body wise and needs tires...well...time for a trade.Wheres the cheapest place to buy rims on the InTeRnEt? Dvinci, Asanti, ect,..?
maybe but doubt it, until you tear down the engine and see what damage has been done there is no certainty of what has been damaged. Most likely the engine is junk by now though, if you're lucky you might be able to save the heads.if it seized severals times,the damage parts have created. you MUST replace the damage parts. there is no short cut to it. be prepare for a rebuilt engine
If the engine seized then the rod bearing are damaged and the engine is just about history. the next sound you will hear is a knocking sound. put in a heaver wt oil and hope it lasts a week or a month? any ones guess.

It depends.... When you put oil in it and it started did it sound normal or did you hear alot of knocking and tapping. If there is minimal sound and the engine "seems" to run fine, get the leak repaired and change your oil. Add 1 quart of Lucas engine treatment. Meaning replace 1 quart of the regular oil with 1 quart of Lucas engine oil treatment when you do the oil cahnge and see how it runs.
