Car trouble?

Bond and fiberglass won't work well. You need a product (made by Bondo) called Dynatron. It is a two part epoxy system made specifically for urethane bumper covers. It also has a sheet of sreen to use as a backing int the kit.

It is best to remove the cover, then clean the area on the inside and use a bit of mixed product to attach the backing screen. Let it cure (about an hour) then fill the hole. You can make a mold for the top, and use plastic food wrap to get a smooth surface, or yo can sand the Dynatron as you would "Bondo".

I would go with fiberglass. Use something like wire mesh to back it. Fiberglass and resin bond with the plastic. and in my opinion it is easier to paint.

Go to your local auto parts store or a paint and body supply store and ask for a "plastic repair kit." Fiberglass and bondo aren't flexible enough.

My 2002 Impala LS (sport package) has warped rotors. How bad is this problem?

Plastic bumper covers and panels can be "welded" and patched using special kits and supplies. Don't use Bondo or fiberglass, those products won't be flexible enough when they dry, and will crack. I fixed a hole the size you've described, by gluing a large piece of plastic underneath the bumper first.

there is an item called a plastic welder. most of your body shops have these. basicly it melts a plasic filler and your plasic bumber to gether filling the hole. the cheap ones cost about $50 off the internet, but work quit well.
