My car made a clicking noise but my thermometer read that nothing the car was cool so I continue to drive and the car. I felt a different in the acceleration then the car shut off. Do you think I drained the battery or ruined the engine? Also the car attempts to start.

So far it sounds like the battery is still good and up to mostly charged if it is turning over the engine.A clicking noise can almost come from anywhere and maybe not even the engine.It could have been by coincidence.Check your engine oil for sure, cause the clicking may have been your valves not getting enough oil to them.I will need more info to be able to make a better diagnosis.Like, does your "check engine' light come on?Contact me thru my profile .need info to help
